NEWYEAR MESSAGE TO ALL STUDENTS.

Winning as many as tournaments best preparation for 2010

As a successful but physically draining year draws to a close, fritz chess academy is now aiming for a title championship in the new season to ensure a good build-up to the 2010 year.
i reckons 2010 would be hectic“2010 is going to be really busy and hectic .we don’t want to think so much ahead as it is still a long way to go .we will have to concentrate on the other tournaments next year,”
“It was good year. Our hard work really paid off. We won a tournament and reached the finals of two and also made it to the quarters a couple of times. It was an amazing year and I can never forget how wonderful it has been. Yes, I know we could have won some tournaments,as I know we will get another chance,”

Experimentation at monthly tournaments to prepare for state levels

I am willing to break up my winning squad for the sake of preparing for the 2010 state levels.
It was a conscious decision to blood young talent" I'd already told the players well in advance that we needed to get the next generation involved. We've had the same team together for around 3 years, but 2010 is only one month away.
We still have some exceptional players. But it's just that the average one across that group isn't enough to make ours competitive.

ANNAPOORNI to lead FRITZ in STATE LEVEL CHESS

Annapoorni will lead fritz team in the forthcoming state level chess tournament to be held in hosur, on December 26 & 27, according to sources within the team. the team composition will be announced later.

Tuesday, November 17, 2009

ALSO THERE WILL BE REGULAR CLASSES SCHEDULED ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.

The timings of the Academy:
Fridays, Saturdays,: 4.30 P.M. to 7.30 P.M.,

camps

planned coaching camps were cancelled due to burn out for players.

What now, FRITZ CHESS ACADEMY ?

WE will recommend that players be sent to play in leagues to prepare for state championships.
The team will no longer be in full-time training upon their return from titan chess tournament on sunday as the players will be required to play for their academies in the forthcoming tournaments.
“There is no need for the training to continue as we feel that the players need a break and will be busy with their academy commitments,”
“So, for the next two months we do not expect any camps for the team and it will be a good time for us to reflect on their plans for the team.

FRITZ ready to help groom promising juniors

Junior players in the FRITZ team have showed their potential and OUR ACADEMY was ready to go the extra mile to help develop them into top players.
“But unless we are ready to expose these young players and provide them with the platform to play in various tournaments, their development will be stagnated
state championships next year would be a priority for the team as the winner can win automatic qualification to the nationals.

Fritz eyes solid preparations for state u-9 championship

We have chalked out a comprehensive training programme for the players in a bid to get it ready for next year's u-9 state championship. We are working on several options “Such events will not only help our team prepare for the tournament but will also provide a boost . “The titan chess tournament will help us begin the first leg of our preparations,” . “We will be playing against some strong players and some good results against them would further boost the morale of the players.”

Fritz chess players going for a makeover

Despite their occasional success at tournaments, fritz academy players have been leading a quiet life the last few months.
And now, clearly, our players are going for a makeover.
New development:
And now, clearly, our students are going for a makeover“It’s a new development as weekly professionalised tournaments
“We have to package ourselves better. Everybody is excited about the new prospect, suddenly all the players are charged up.

Fritz chess is in for some exciting times ahead.

Fritz chess academy has launched a plan to stage a events every fortnight in the 1000 days until the start of 2012 "we support in staging events that help train and develop our players ahead of 2012 is a vital part of the preparations for making sure that we hold a first-class team in 2012,"

We are 'confident' of strong 2010

I believe my winning team can carry their form into 2010 and be the team to beat again.
"It's going to be far more difficult next season . "But we've got every reason to believe we can be competitive. We are quietly confident about next year."
"There may have been a period when numbers counted but by 2011 all teams will be our size and so we've got every reason to believe we can be competitive - I'm looking forward to it."

Clearly, all the members of the team have been showing good progress in the last year,"
"So I would say we are going with a good team . But I think motivation will be the key mantra and the boys and girls clearly have a lot of it,
"Each one of them has a different talent. I think all that I can say is personally I am just very proud to see each wave of players emerging with a lot of talent, hardwork and an eye on the top.

MY VOICE

I am going to continue experimenting
i am looking for a winning combination, rather winning trophies and medals for our academy.
The shifting of players' positions and trying out younger aspirants are necessary, and i am ready to shuts the door on the experienced players that i dropped from the training squad.
I will place my trust on those who have been training diligently
We are in the midst of preparing for the hectic season next year , However, we going to experiment without nine first choice players, and out of the 22, 12 have less than 20 caps.

FRITZ CHESS ACADEMY to be completely revamped

FRITZ CHESS ACADEMY is set to move towards by laying its foundation on a professional structure of international standard, early next year.
The present structure of the academy is based on a old setup with most of the operations
We will be going to have a strong professional team to look after the affairs of ever growing chess.
In the new organizational set-up the academy will create a marketing department & sponsorship, which were the key winning factors for any successful academy.

Weekend Chess Puzzle

Solving tactical puzzles is a great way to improve your chess, and with that in mind, I'll be posting a chess puzzle on the blog each weekend. These puzzles will hopefully be of moderate difficulty; beginning and improving players will hopefully be able to get something out of them, and some might be fun even for more advanced players.

Our first puzzle is a mate-in-three for White.

White to move and mate in three

Feel free to post your ideas or solutions in the comments section. I'll reveal the solution in my next post!
